Born to a mining family in the heart of Newcastle and growing up through the vibrant of the changing city of the 1950s, the Geordie artist has the spirit of the Toon engrained into every aspect of his identity.
Having polio as a child, watching the social and economic developments of the city, he begun to capture the vibrant bustling town through pencil and watercolour. We are exciting to show you this fantastic collection.
